Dr. John Losee, MD

Dr. Losee has been in active Urologic practice in Northwest Washington DC since 1999. He is a graduate of the College of Arts and Sciences at Georgetown University in 1989. He then continued his Medical education at Georgetown University Medical School, graduating in 1993.

Dr. Losee completed his Urology Residency at Georgetown University Hospital in 1999. Following this he joined the Medical Staff at Sibley Memorial Hospital where he has remained in active practice.

Dr. Losee's areas of Urologic expertise include Kidney Stones, Endo-urology, Lithotripsy, Urinary Incontinence, Female Urology, Prostate Cancer, Prostate Seed Implantation (Brachytherapy), Prostate Enlargement, Voiding Dysfunction, and Vasectomy. He has special training in Minimally Invasive Sling Procedures for Incontinence.

Dr. Losee maintains privileges at Sibley Memorial Hospital, The George Washington University Hospital, Georgetown University Hospital and The Massachusetts Avenue Surgery Center.

Dr. Losee is Certified by the American Board of Urology and is a member of the American Urologic Association. He has been a recipient of the John Carroll Society Award . He has continuously been recognized as a "Top Doctor" by the Washingtonian Magazine since 2005.

Dr. Losee is the President of the Osler Society and serves as the Vice President of the Board of Directors of The Massachusetts Avenue Surgery Center.
