Dr. Irwin Shuman, MD
Dr. Shuman earned his medical degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He completed his residency in general surgery at Mt. Alto V.A. Hospital and his residency in urology at Georgetown University.
Dr. Shuman is an active member of many medical and professional associations. He is chairman of the section of Urology at Sibley Memorial
Hospital, and is chairman of the department of urology and the Medical Advisory Committee at the center for ambulatory surgery. He is past
president of the Washington Urologic Society.
Dr. Shuman is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
