Jason Engel, MD

Dr Jason EngelDr. Engel is a Clinical Professor of Urology at George Washington University, the Director of Urologic Robotic Surgery at George Washington University Hospital, and previously served as the Vice Chairman of Urology there between 2008 and 2013. His clinical interests lie largely in the minimally invasive management of urologic cancers (prostate, kidney, bladder, etc.) and enlarged prostate (BPH).

Another major focus is complex urologic reconstructive surgery such as seen in the management of urethral strictures, Peyronie’s disease, male urinary incontinence and bladder substitution. His experience with kidney stone management is equally extensive. Meet Dr. Engel >>

John Losee, MD

Dr. Losee has been in active Urologic practice in the greater Washington DC area since 1999. He is a graduate of the College of Arts and Sciences at Georgetown University in 1989. He then continued his Medical education at Georgetown University Medical School, graduating in 1993.

Dr. Losee completed his Urology Residency at Georgetown University Hospital in 1999. Following this he joined the Medical Staff at Sibley Memorial Hospital where he has remained in active practice. He now also has admitting privileges at George Washington University Hospital. Meet Dr. Losee >>

Katherine Klos, MD

Katherine Klos, MD is certified by the American Board of Urology and by the American Board of Medical Examiners. She has an undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and her medical degree from the University of Alabama. She completed her general surgery internship and urology residency locally at George Washington University.

After completing residency, Dr. Klos has been able to develop a general urologic practice treating conditions like kidney stones, prostatic enlargement, voiding dysfunction (including urinary frequency and urgency), prostate cancer and erectile dysfunction. Through her experience she has also been able to help patients with difficult conditions like pelvic pain, testosterone deficiency, recurrent UTI’s and chronic prostatitis. About Our Practice

As a practice, we have been treating men and women in the Washington metropolitan area for the better part of 40 years. Started in 1963 by Drs. Seitzman and Shuman, our commitment to provide the best urologic care to our community has remained steadfast.

Each of our physicians is Board Certified and a graduate of a United States medical school and training program. They are very active within local hospitals, medical organizations, community organizations, and national medical groups.
