The video below is an actual presentation from a meeting of the American Urological Association several years ago. The surgery is performed by Dr. Engel, with his fellow at that time, Dr. Doug Sutherland narrating. This operation is most commonly performed in the adult population after gynecologic injury to the ureter, although Dr. Engel also occasionally performs robotic reimplantation during cancer surgery on the bladder or ureter as well.
